Ravi is a highly acclaimed filmmaker. He dons several hats. He's an award-winning director, writer, editor and teacher. With over a decade of experience behind his back, he has directed over 50 short fiction films as well as a diverse range of other films and shows which include documentaries, reality shows, commercials, training films and government films. An alumnus of AJKMCRC, Jamia Millia Islamia, Ravi has been honoured with the Virtual International Short Film Festival 2020 and Indogma Film Festival 2019 for the short film "NOGANWAN". Another one of his short films "REVENGE-The Love Story" was honoured at the Dehradun International Film Festival 2017. He directed the feature film "HANERE PANNE, The Dark Chapter". He has worked on the hilarious-emotional web series "TEEN DO PAANCH" which was recently released on Disney Hotstar. He has also worked on the BBC studios documentary series "SONS OF THE SOIL" which was released on Amazon Prime. Some of his other latest feats include three television commercials on Consumer Protection Act, 2019. These were later dubbed in 20 regional languages. He also directed a commercial on Drugs Deaddiction for Department of Social Welfare for Government of Bihar. In the ongoing pandemic, Ravi has been on back-to-back pan India shoots and directed numerous documentary films for United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Central Water Commission (CWC), Department of Science & Technology (OTT platform India Science), National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), Government of Uttarakhand, Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and many more. Ravi has had a plethora of clientele and delivered several projects for them. He has worked on the reality show series "Emergency Room" for the National Geographic Channel, training films for Philips India Limited, LT Foods Limited, McCain Foods India Private Limited, Zydus Wellness Ltd, Bharti Airtel Limited, Amul, PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited and educational programme of 1200 episodes for the government of Punjab. He has even directed live events which include the "SDNE FIESTA 2015-Songs and Dance of North East" for Government of Meghalaya. He has also been a part of numerous corporate films for the JayPee Group and short films of 24 Frames Cine Pvt. Ltd. as well as 69 productions. He is known for his keen sense of observation and out of the box ideation which he has taught to several of his students. As a teacher, he has given script writing workshops at Noida International University, Acting Workshops at Soch Theatre Group and filmmaking workshops for several media institutes. He is multilingual and is famous for making lemonade out of lemons in any given scenario.
