Joe Hackett
Joe Hackett has been acting since his 5th grade play - In a spin off of Snow White, he played Fonzie, the head dwarf! Originally from Concord, Massachusetts. where went to Fenn School and Concord Carlisle High School. Graduating from Villanova University in 1992, he went to New York City when and was soon cast in A Midsummer Night's Dream, with the Roundabout Theatre. Shortly thereafter he started working as a series regular on Beetleborgs where he met directors John Putch, Gabe Torres, Bob Hughes, Doug Campbell, Worth Keeter and Jeff Burr. Soon after he worked on Tycus with Dennis Hopper. He worked on the NBC show ER, as well as the TNT show Southland.
After 17 years in Los Angeles, this fall, Joe Hackett is happy to finally be writing his own script. He is currently writing and directing a series of new short films called Interior Classroom this fall, Joe Hackett will be in a Lifetime movie called Home Invasion directed by Doug Campbell in October of this year (2011).
Joe met his wife 'Heather Hackett' doing a Robert Anderson one act at Playhouse West in North Hollywood. Joe Hackett is very happy to be the Dad or two incredible children.
