Nari has a commanding stage and screen presence, he is 6'2" with an athletic frame. He is always seeking charismatic, challenging roles that require a committed performance. His screen credits include Spectre, directed by Sam Mendes, Disney's Cinderella, Murder On The Orient Express, Death on The Nile and a guest spot on the TV series Temple. He is also known for playing the lead role of Billy Laidlaw in the BAFTA award winning online football video game, I Am Playr. Nari has a strong array of theatre credits working with some of Britain's most revered actors, writers and directors. In November 2019, he originated the role of Valvert in Cyrano De Bergerac at the Playhouse Theatre adapted by Martin Crimp, directed by Jamie Lloyd and starring James McAvoy. The production was nominated for best revival at the Olivier Awards and was filmed and broadcast to cinemas globally on the 20th Feb 2020 via National Theatre Live. He also appeared in the original cast of the West End and NYC smash hit show People, Places and Things written by Duncan Macmillan, directed by Jeremy Herrin and starring Denise Gough. Nari was the recipient of an Ian Charleson Award commendation for his performance in the critically acclaimed production of Macbeth for the Manchester International Festival, directed by Kenneth Branagh and Rob Ashford. The production subsequently transferred to NYC's Park Avenue Armory and a film is available via the National Theatre Live catalogue. Nari has played the lead role in Shakespeare's Othello several times at different stages of his career; at drama school- in London's West End and in the Czech Republic with the Prague Shakespeare Company. He was raised by his Jamaican mother and Indian father in a creative household alongside his three brothers: Rohan, Arun and Omar. During his childhood, Nari performed in numerous productions with Chickenshed Theatre including shows at the Guildhall, Royal Albert Hall and performing with the Spice Girls on their farewell tour at Wembley Stadium 1998. Nari was encouraged to pursue a career in acting by his high school drama teacher and he went on to study acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
