Alexandra Berti
Alexandra Berti relocated to New York City to attend Fordham University / Alvin Ailey's prestigious BFA in Dance program. Upon arriving in New York City, Alexandra was cast in the Off-Broadway show "Savage Force" and as the lead actress, Ella, in the 2.5 hour feature film "One More Photo Please", which had a red carpet premiere and multiple screenings at AMC Empire 25 theatre in Times Square, NYC.
After graduating with her BFA, Alexandra studied for a MA in Communications from Johns Hopkins University Kreiger School of the Arts and Sciences. She landed core work (full season) on one of televisions most watched shows, "FBI", during seasons 2, 3 and 4, and additionally was the Utility Stand-In (Bridget Donovan, Lena, Teresa, etc.) on the "Ray Donovan The Movie".
Alexandra has been in commercials for Brooklyn Boxing (National campaign), Adidas, Soul Food Brooklyn, and others. She was a runway model for Estelle's Dressy Dresses and has modeled for Brooklyn Boxing's clothing line, Prima Soft Dancewear, Evolution Activewear, Kneeotech, Art Stone The Competitor, Bi-Pad Products, GURL, and others.
She has performed professionally across New York State with the Ailey Fordham Student Dancers (AFSD) group performing legendary pieces such as Alvin Ailey's "I Been Buked", "Blues Suite", "Streams", "Escapades", "Masekela Language", "Caverna Magica" and others. Alexandra danced as a company member with Eglevsky Ballet's Professional Company for two seasons in their Nutcracker production and with Long Island Ballet Theatre for their production of The Nutcracker as well. Alexandra can also be seen as a dancer in multiple TV/Film projects.
An accomplished, Olympian-trained figure skater, Alexandra won the gold medal at the USFSA National Showcase competition, achieved the USFSA's Graduating Seniors Award, and performed for a sold-out audience at Nassau Coliseum alongside Olympian Sarah Hughes and others.
Alexandra holds a Teacher Certification from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy and is a member of the USFSA, PSA, and SCNY for figure skating.
When not performing, Alexandra is involved with numerous speaking engagements sharing her story and speaking for various non-profit and for-profit organizations.
