Anzi DeBenedetto
Hailing from New York City, Anzi DeBenedetto has performed in material ranging from classical Shakespeare to contemporary dramas, showing an adaptability for any role. Born in NYC on August 26, 2000 to an Italian-American father and a Chinese-American mother, Anzi DeBenedetto moved to Shanghai, China when he was eight years old. There, Anzi fell in love with drama, participating in shows within Shanghai's expat theatre scene. He then moved back to the United States for high school, where he attended Phillips Exeter Academy. Anzi enrolled at NYU Tisch in 2018, from which he has since graduated with a BFA in Drama.
Anzi has trained at multiple acting schools, including the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, The Neighborhood Playhouse, Margie Haber Studio, and the Atlantic Theater Company. He also sings, plays the piano, writes songs, and can speak fluent Chinese and beginner Italian.
