Grace Blackman
Grace Annabelle Blackman was born on December 7th 1992 in Sidcup, Kent. From an early age, she attended both Helen O'Grady Drama Academy and Nicky Bate School of Dance, where she practiced Ballet, Tap and Jazz. However, after leaving both these academies and whilst at school, she developed a talent for drawing and painting, and contemplated a career as an artist. She did not study any form of performance for another 4 years or act in a public production for another 6.
She joined the Bob Hope Theatre Actors Company in November 2010 and the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain in 2011, before going on to Loughborough University to study a Bachelor of Arts in Drama. It was here she joined the LSU Shakespeare and Stage Societies.
In between her studies, she worked again at the Bob Hope Theatre, Bromley Little Theatre and multiple independent film production companies.
In 2013, she joined the festival company at the National Student Drama Festival and in the same year she made her Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut in Jim Cartwright's, Road. In 2015 studied for a Masters in Acting at Arts Educational London. in 2017 she joined the National Youth Film Academy.
