Alix West Lefler
Alix West Lefler was born in Vancouver, B.C., but don't let her pint size fool you! This powerful young actor found her love of performance traveling with her parents' extreme outdoor sports shows where she was featured as a log roller and an axe thrower at the age of 5! The acting bug had bit Alix! Her professional career took off at the age of 7 when Alix was cast in the stage play, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Alix and her production-mates won the 2019 Joey (Young Canadian Performers) Award for the Best Ensemble Play. With her passion established, Alix went to work. She enrolled in acting classes, took on a coach and began auditioning... the work paid off. In 2019 Alix booked a guest role on The Good Doctor. Feature roles followed in 2020 on the television movies Chateau Christmas and Cranberry Christmas, a guest spot on the television series Resident Alien and a recurring role as 'Hope' in the hit television series Siren for which she won a Joey Award for Best Actress in a Recurring Television Role, 6-8 Years. Alix was profoundly moved to earn a second Joey Award that year... this one for 2020's Most Promising Performer. No rest. This is what Alix calls fuel. A recurring role on the massive hit television series Riverdale started 2021 off with a bang which was quickly followed by a principal role in the television movie Fishing For Love. Alix has been cast as the title lead in the short Holocaust feature The Fast Runner. and is vying for her first role in a studio feature film. Alix recently landed her first supporting lead role in a studio feature film with Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne that filmed in Connecticut in early 2021 and is set to be released in 2022. When she is not grounding herself with a little axe throwing, honing her acting chops, auditoning or attending school full time, you can find Alix ensconced, along with her friends, in the vital occupation of being a kid.
