Shane Hagedorn

Shane Hagedorn is a multi-award winning producer, writer, and actor. While pursuing a career in security and law enforcement, Shane enrolled into a theater program at a local community college. There he was cast in numerous plays: Picasso in 'Picasso at the Lapin Agile', Porthos in 'The Three Musketeers' and The Old Man in Tennessee Williams 'Strange Kind of Romance'. 'Conference of The Birds' earned Shane an Irene Ryan Acting Nomination in 2002. As a writer/director/producer he has developed three feature films and a documentary: (2008) The Model Father, a film he wrote, directed, produced, and edited; the documentary Craftsman Style (2009), and Ashes of Eden (2014). In 'Ashes' he served as writer, director, producer, actor, and editor. In the dark comedy, Best Years Gone (2021), Shane was actor, co-producer, and director. As an actor, Shane has played many supporting characters in award winning short and feature length films. As Benny in 'Handlebar' he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor (2007). As leading man, Shane was nominated for Best Actor (2018 Burbank Int Film Fest, 2018 Christian Int Film Fest), in the festival award winning best picture of 'Wild Faith' (2018). In 'The Quest Series' (Forty Nights, Chasing The Star, The Christ Slayer) Shane played a re-occurring role-The Arch Angel Gabriel in Collective Development Incorporated award-winning biblical trilogy. Shane continues writing and developing projects. Valley of the Gun (Award winner 2018 Mountain Festival, Honorable mention 2018 Wild Bunch Film Fest ) and continues working on several films and TV series in various stages of development. He is married and and resides in his home state of Michigan.
