Veronica Falcón
Veronica Falcón was born in Mexico City. She's considered one of Mexico's most versatile & prestigious actors, as well as an outstanding choreographer. She's had a remarkable career in television, film & stage in Mexico & abroad. In 2015, she relocated to the US and within months she was cast as "Camila Vargas" in the hit television series "Queen of the South, she quickly became a fan favorite.
Her latest credits include: "Ozark" opposite to Laura Linney, Julia Garner & Jason Bateman. Disney's "Jungle Cruise" where she played "Trader Sam" next to Dwayne Johnson & Emily Blunt. HBO's "Perry Mason" where she played "Lupe Gibbs" opposite to Matthew Rhys. In Steven Conrad's critically acclaimed "Perpetual Grace Ltd" she was cast as "Clara" opposite to Sir Ben Kingsley & Jackie Weaver. Her latest body of work also includes: Marc Cherry's "Why Women Kill" 2, HBO's "Room 104" written by the Duplass Brothers, Marvel's "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier", Joseph Gordon-Levitt's "Mr. Corman", Ted Melfi's "The Starling", Neil Burger's "Voyagers" and "The Forever Purge" just to name a few.
For many years she was the Artistic Director of her own independent Theater Company based in Berlin and Mexico. As a choreographer she worked with Mexico's National Opera amongst other prestigious companies, her choreography of Mozart's "Don Giovanni" is still regarded as one of the most original works ever created for the National Opera.
At age sixteen, she obtained a Teacher's Degree in English. She is also fluent in German and French. In 2013 she got awarded with a production grant as a playwright at the Global Micro theatre project. Her play went on to have two successful runs. She is part of UCLA's Writers certificate program and she is now developing a limited series. Her upcoming projects are "Perry Mason" season 2 & "Aristotle & Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe" a film directed by Aitch Alberto based in the bestselling novel. Ms. Falcón has one son and they live in Los Angeles, California.
