Jasper Bagg
Born in the USA, to a British father, and raised Down Under, [and thus he has three passports,] Jasper is just off both "The Tourist" and "Blacklight" with Harrow (2018), Informer 3838 (2020), Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018) and Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok (2017) not far behind. (Jasper was Thor's barber until Stan Lee was edited in!)
In 2017, Jasper was pinned for a lead in the 'Starz' series Counterpart (2017) opposite J.K. Simmons. In 2015 he played the role of 'Campbell' in the International spy-thriller, Joker Game (2015) opposite Kazuya Kamenashi and Kyôko Fukada. 'Joker Game' went on to attain number one on the Japanese Box Office and Blue Ray sales.
Jasper has extensive series regular and featured lead guest roles, and is known for his standout characters, such as the elusive 'Two-Stroke' in Matchbox's The Straits (2012), and his hilarious 'D'arcy the Dandy' in Jonathan M. Shiff's Pirate Islands (2003). Other guest star roles include major appearances on such iconic series as: Bed of Roses (2008), Winners & Losers (2011), Blue Heelers (1994), Neighbours (1985), City Homicide (2007), Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (2012), Stingers (1998), Round the Twist (1989) and Thunderstone (1999).
Jasper graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 1990. Previously, in 1984, his first on-set gig was with James Coburn, and since then he has had the opportunity to work beside such luminaries as Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Ioan Gruffudd, John Boyega, Russell Crowe, Geoffrey Rush, Heath Ledger, Guy Pearce, Rachel Griffiths, James Nesbitt and Brian Cox.
In his capacity as mentor to many professional actors, Jasper daily directs international self-tests, as well as working one on one, in person or by Skype, in order to enhance their approach to themselves in a role.
