Ty DeMoya
Ty DeMoya is an actor of Latin and mixed European descent.
At the age of six, Ty started acting in commercials. He was in several regional commercials for companies like Zippo, Kinney Drugs, Wegmans, and I Love New York, amongst others and he was a Principal in a national commercial for Fisher-Price. Ty was, also, in an advertisement for Galbani string cheese that led to the creation of National String Cheese Day.
Ty, then, began acting in his local university's student films. He, soon, went on to act in several independent and American High productions. He started as background talent, then moved into more featured roles that eventually led to a speaking part. Amongst these, Ty can be seen in the American High movies Plan B and Crush, as well as, the independent movie Cabrini.
In addition, Ty has trained in theatre. He has performed on stage in over twenty Disney productions with his local children's theatre.
Ty is both an avid Brazilian jiu jitsu and karate student. He plays three instruments: violin, upright bass, and piano. In his free time, Ty enjoys snowboarding, skateboarding, drawing and playing video games.
