Peter Bundic
Peter Bundic is an award-winning actor, writer, filmmaker and television host who has worked on numerous TV, film and digital productions. Wise beyond his years, this bright and charismatic young man's easygoing personality makes him a pleasure to work with on set and off. The moment Peter felt the yearning to become an actor as a child; he retained an agent, began auditioning immediately and booked from his very first audition! Since then, Peter has been working consistently and has already achieved a great deal of success in the industry.
Peter's love for performing is evidenced by the passion and drive with which he trains and hones his craft on a regular basis. His work in television includes recurring roles on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018) and Disney's Mech-X4 (2016) Season 2, roles in The Hollow (2018) on Netflix, the Secret History of Comics: The Trials of Superman (2017) episode of Secret History of Comics (2017) and an episode of Eureka (2006). He will be appearing in the upcoming sci-fi fantasy feature film Spontaneous (2020) and past film appearances include a role in the blockbuster feature Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011). In addition, Peter has booked national commercial spots for Hot Pockets, NASCAR, Nissan, Crayola, Hot Wheels, Kellogg's, and United Way.
Peter performed in episodes 1 and 2 of Night Owl High (2015), which won on STORYHIVE and is funded by TELUS. He played the role of 'Johnny Wilder' and won a 2015 Joey Award for his performance. The Young Entertainer Awards named Peter 'Best Actor' in 2016 for his role in the short film Pirates (2015). Two of his other short films, Bocce Boys (2014) and Escape Sonata (2014), were co-written by Peter, who also performed and assisted with sound and camera on both. Bocce Boys won Second Place for 'Best Film Junior Mentored' at the Kaleidoscope Kids TV International Film Festival. Escape Sonata won 'Best Use of Sound/Music' at the 2015 Reel 2 Real Film Festival, and was an Official Selection at Action on Film 2015 in Monrovia, where Peter won an award for his performance. Escape Sonata was also named 'Best Children's Film,' an accolade that Peter was proud to share with his sister, actress Janette Bundic. Peter continues to receive multiple award nominations and recognition for his work and, in addition to the aforementioned, has been honored by the Young Artist Awards, Zoom Festival Competition and Accolade Global Film Competition.
During the past several years, Peter has added television and live event hosting to his repertoire, as he is poised and confident on stage and quite comfortable interacting with a live audience. Peter hosted the Young Moviemakers Red Carpet Gala 2016-18, as well as many episodes of Shaw Television's eveRIAthing, including a memorable and inspiring episode about Mental Health Awareness. He was elevated to official host after having been interviewed as a guest by eveRIAthing's Ria Jade. Peter co-hosted the Where Love Found Me (2016) film screening in Vancouver (then known as Fourth World) and has also interviewed Miss Universe Canada's Finalist Laura Guzman, which aired on eveRIAthing.
An all around athlete as well, Peter routinely demonstrates exceptional athletic prowess and team spirit in the sports arena. He has played on several football teams, including the Vancouver College Varsity Football Team and the Canadian All Star Football Team. Peter traveled with his team to play in Miami on July 4, 2015 and contributed to an exciting win for the Canadian All Star Team! He has also traveled to Las Vegas to play for Team BC. In addition, he has been a member of a Gold soccer team. In his free time, Peter enjoys swimming, skateboarding, and dirt biking.
