Scott Reid

Scott Reid is a Scottish actor and singer/songwriter who is probably best known for his role as DC Mick Clark in HBO Max Series "The Murders at White House Farm" and playing "Methadone Mick" in BBC comedy "Still Game". Scott was born in Glasgow (Scotland) and has been acting - and singing - from an early age. He attended PACE Youth Theatre for several years before progressing onto the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (formally know as the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD)). He graduated in 2013 at the age of 19. His other acting projects include playing the role of Michael Farmer in Season 4 of the BBC Drama "Line of Duty" and plays Quill in the fantasy-noir series "Carnival Row" on Amazon Prime. He can also be seen in the Guardian's Brexit Short "Permanent Sunshine" playing the role of Chummy and in Channel 4's "Deadwater Fell" alongside David Tennant. His latest film "The Forgotten Battle" will be released on Netflix later in 2021. Scott's stage credits include playing Christopher Boone in "The Curios Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" for the National Theatre and made his professional stage debut in 2013 at the Citizens Theatre playing the role of Solange in "The Maids". Scott was nominated for the Best Male Performance and Best Newcomer to Scottish Theatre at the Critics' Awards for Theatre in Scotland in 2014 for his role as Thomas in "A Perfect Stroke" at the Traverse Theatre. He has also appeared in "Romeo and Juliet" playing Mercutio at the Sherman Theatre and "Fever Dream: Southside" at the Citizens Theatre. Scott also performed in the musical "The Choir" written by Ricky Ross of Deacon Blue and Actor Paul Higgins.
